On June 13th, 2016 over 100 educators came together at Argonne National Laboratory for a day focused on hands-on, inquiry and problem-based teaching and learning in STEM; design-thinking STEM activities; NGSS aligned curriculum and more. Dr. David Gatchell, PhD, of Northwestern University, was the keynote speaker, and there were sixteen unique breakout sessions whose specific topics ranged from coding to literacy in STEM to renewable energy sources to laboratory protocol. The Office of STEM Education Partnerships and R&D STEM Learning Exchange co-hosted the event. We are thankful to our partner Argonne National Laboratory, and our sponsor of the 7th Annual STEM Summit, Motorola Solutions Foundation.
